About the Role
Simply Education are working with a welcoming and well-resourced primary school in Kent who are seeking a dedicated Reception Teacher to join their team after February half term.
This is a long-term position, continuing until at least the end of the academic year. The role includes full teaching responsibilities, including planning and marking, so we are looking for someone confident in delivering the EYFS curriculum and supporting children at the very start of their school journey.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons in line with the EYFS framework
Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development
Create a positive, nurturing classroom environment
Complete all planning and marking in line with school expectations
Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
Have recent experience teaching within EYFS, ideally Reception
Have strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and assessment
Be organised, proactive and committed to high standards
Have all required safeguarding checks completed (or be willing to complete them)
