Simply Education is seeking a professional, approachable, and highly organised School Receptionist to join our busy school office. As the first point of contact for parents, pupils, staff, and visitors, you will play a vital role in creating a warm and efficient front-of-house environment.

The Role

  • Greeting visitors, managing sign-ins, and handling front-desk enquiries with professionalism.
  • Answering phone calls, emails, and relaying messages promptly and accurately.
  • Providing general administrative support to the school office team.
  • Managing post, deliveries, and maintaining accurate records and registers.
  • Supporting safeguarding procedures by following all visitor and security protocols.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Have previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role
  • Experience of working in school essential
  • Be confident using ICT systems (e.g. Microsoft Office, SIMS/Arbor or similar).
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be reliable, well-organised, and able to multitask in a busy environment.
  • Be discreet and professional when handling sensitive information.
