About the Role:
As a Science Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics, tailored to meet the needs of all learners.
Support pupils in achieving strong outcomes in Science by delivering the national curriculum effectively.
Create a positive, inclusive learning environment that promotes curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of science.
Assess and monitor progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop curriculum resources and share best practices.
What We're Looking For:
To be considered for this role, you should:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) through a PGCE, GTP, or Bachelor of Education, or be an ECT specialising in Science.
Have experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 (A-level experience is a bonus but not essential).
Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and strong classroom management skills.
Be organised, adaptable, and committed to professional growth.
Show enthusiasm for encouraging young people to explore and understand the world through science.
Please note: All applicants must provide two years of references and complete an enhanced DBS check. This role is subject to satisfactory safeguarding and background checks.
