About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Maidstone. You will be responsible for delivering engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience. This is a long-term role starting in September, with the possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Inspire students to develop a love for learning and scientific thinking
• Track student progress and provide regular feedback
• Contribute to departmental planning and extra-curricular activities
• Uphold the school's behaviour and safeguarding policies

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
• Specialism in any Science discipline (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics)
• Experience teaching Science in a UK secondary school setting
• A passion for your subject and a strong classroom presence
• Ability to start in September and commit to a full-time role
