Key Responsibilities:

As a Secondary Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging, inclusive lessons that meet the diverse needs of students, including those in SEND provisions.

  • Adapt teaching methods and materials to support the individual learning needs of students, ensuring academic progress and personal development.

  • Build strong relationships with students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages engagement and trust.

  • Promote resilience and a growth mindset using innovative and creative teaching practices.

  • Collaborate with teaching assistants, SEND specialists, and other staff to develop personalised learning plans and ensure the best outcomes for all students.

  • Maintain high standards of classroom management, ensuring positive behaviour and implementing school policies effectively.

  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help students achieve their potential.

  • Participate in school activities, meetings, and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay up-to-date with best practices.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: QTS status or relevant teaching qualifications.

  • Experience: Minimum of 6 months teaching experience within the UK curriculum (preferably in secondary education).

  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

  • Right to Work in the UK and a valid driving license (preferred).

  • Checkable 10-year work history with references.
