Job Description:
Simply Education is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Secondary Supply Teachers to work across a range of secondary schools in Cambridge and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified teachers looking for flexible work while gaining experience in a variety of school settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and Key Stage 5 where appropriate)
• Maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
• Effectively manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Adapt quickly to different school environments and student needs
• Provide feedback to school staff as required

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE (or equivalent recognised teaching qualification)
• Proven experience working with secondary school-aged children
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Knowledge of the UK secondary curriculum
• Enhanced DBS check (on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one through Simply Education)
• Professional, flexible, and reliable approach

Desirable:

• Experience teaching in UK secondary schools
• Subject specialism (all subjects welcome)
• Availability for short-notice bookings
