Simply Education is recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant to join a small specialist SEND school supporting pupils from primary to secondary age.
The school supports children and young people with autism, ADHD, SEMH and sensory processing needs, many of whom have struggled to access mainstream education. All pupils are supported through EHCPs and benefit from a calm, structured and nurturing environment.
The setting has been rated Good by Ofsted, with an Outstanding judgement for Personal Development, reflecting its strong focus on wellbeing, confidence and emotional growth.

The Role
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils in class and on a one-to-one or small-group basis
- Help deliver learning activities tailored to each pupil's stage of progress
- Support pupils with emotional regulation, communication and behaviour
- Take part in a broad curriculum, including practical, creative and enrichment activities
- Assist with extra-curricular and off-timetable learning, such as life skills and outdoor activities
- Work closely with teachers and other support staff to meet EHCP outcomes
This is a hands-on role requiring patience, adaptability and strong relationship-building skills.

Requirements
