Teacher - Special Educational Needs (SEND)
Location: Peterborough
Contract: Full-time / Part-time
Simply Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join a Special Educational Needs (SEND) school in Peterborough. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Teacher who is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of children and young people with additional needs.
The Role:
- Deliver engaging, inclusive lessons tailored to pupils with a range of SEND
- Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
- Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and parents
- Create a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
- Experience working with SEND pupils (e.g. ASD, SEMH, complex needs)
- A patient, flexible, and compassionate approach to teaching
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
