Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Linton, Cambridgeshire
Contract Type: Full-time, Term Time Only
Simply Education is currently seeking a resilient and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN (Special Educational Needs) school. This full-time position is ideal for someone passionate about making a real impact on the lives of young people with additional needs.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEN and additional learning needs
- Assist in managing challenging behaviour with a positive, therapeutic approach
- Work alongside the class teacher to create a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Help students develop social skills, emotional regulation, and independence
- Support the implementation of individual learning and behaviour plans
🔹 What We Are Looking For:
- Some experience working with children or young people with SEN needs
- High levels of resilience, patience, and empathy
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Full-time availability (Monday-Friday, term time)
- A genuine passion for helping children succeed despite challenges
