About the Role:
Simply Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN school in Ely. This rewarding position is ideal for someone who has a genuine passion for supporting young people with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and helping them achieve their full potential in a nurturing, inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with MLD and associated learning needs.
• Assist teachers in creating engaging, differentiated learning activities tailored to individual needs.
• Foster a supportive and encouraging classroom environment that promotes confidence and independence.
• Support students with emotional regulation, social skills, and communication.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure consistent support for each learner.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Proven experience working with children or young people with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD).
• A patient, empathetic, and resilient nature.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A proactive approach to supporting learning and managing behaviour.
• Own transport, as the school is not easily accessible by public transport.
• Relevant qualifications or training in Special Educational Needs (desirable).
