The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join this highly supportive team. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with experienced teachers and therapists, supporting students who require a highly personalised approach to learning.

You will:

· Support pupils with PMLD in small class settings (typically 6-8 students).

· Assist with sensory and therapeutic activities tailored to individual needs.

· Provide personal care and physical support where needed.

· Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff to deliver holistic learning experiences.

· Help create a positive, safe, and engaging environment for every student.

About You

You will be someone who is:

· Patient, nurturing, and resilient, with a genuine passion for supporting young people with complex needs.

· Ideally experienced in a special school, SEND, or care environment (though training can be provided).

· Confident working as part of a multidisciplinary team.

· Open to learning specialist skills and techniques (Makaton, sensory integration, postural management, etc.).
