SEN Teaching Assistant - Maidstone

We're currently recruiting experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to support schools in Maidstone and the surrounding areas.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs and is looking for flexible, rewarding work in a variety of school settings.

The role:
You'll be supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs, which may include ASD, ADHD, SEMH or learning difficulties. Roles can be based in mainstream primary settings or specialist provisions, depending on your experience and preference.

You may be working 1:1, in small groups, or supporting the wider class - so confidence, patience and strong relationship-building skills are key.

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN (school-based experience essential)

  • A calm, consistent and proactive approach

  • Strong behaviour management skills

  • An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one

  • Reliability and a genuine passion for supporting young people
