Are you a compassionate and committed SEN Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with additional needs? We are recruiting on behalf of a fantastic Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Peterborough that is looking for an experienced TA to join their dedicated team.

This is a wonderful opportunity to work in a school that truly puts the needs of its pupils first, offering a supportive environment where both staff and students can thrive.

The Role:

• Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of needs including ASD, SEMH, ADHD, and communication difficulties

• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons

• Build positive relationships with pupils to support their emotional, social, and academic development

• Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a calm, nurturing learning environment

• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to meet individual learning plans

Requirements:

• Proven experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a SEN setting

• Strong understanding of different learning needs and behavioural strategies

• A caring, resilient, and flexible approach to working with children

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

• Commitment to safeguarding and supporting vulnerable learners
