Simply Education is working in partnership with a forward-thinking specialist autism school in Lambeth to recruit a passionate and dedicated English Teacher for a full-time role starting in September. The school supports students aged 11-19 with autism and is based in a purpose-built facility, offering excellent resources and a highly supportive environment.

The Role
As an English Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging, accessible English lessons tailored to the needs of autistic learners
- Foster a safe, structured and supportive classroom environment
- Contribute to the wider aims and ethos of the school, supporting pupils' independence and life skills
- Work collaboratively within a multi-professional team to provide individualised learning experiences
- Demonstrate high standards of teaching, behaviour management and inclusivity
Who We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching English, ideally with an understanding of autism or SEN
- A creative, patient and resilient approach to education
- A strong team player, open to professional development
- A good sense of humour and a genuine commitment to inclusive education
