We are now seeking a SEND English Teacher to join our dedicated team and help support the delivery of English Language and Literature from Years 7 to 11.

This is more than just a teaching role - it's a chance to make a real and lasting difference.

The Role

As our new SEND English Teacher, you will:

  • Teach English Language and Literature to students with a range of learning difficulties.
  • Develop creative, engaging, and differentiated lessons that inspire confidence and academic progress.
  • Work closely with students on a one-to-one and small group basis, providing tailored interventions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to advise on inclusive strategies and adapt mainstream classroom teaching.
  • Support the wider SEND and English teams in developing best practices across the school.

We're Looking For Someone Who:

✅ Is a qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS or equivalent), with experience in teaching English.
✅ Has a strong understanding of SEND and a passion for inclusive education.
✅ Can build strong relationships with students, staff, and families.
✅ Brings creativity, empathy, and adaptability to their teaching approach.
✅ Has excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
