Are you a compassionate and skilled teacher with a passion for supporting young people with additional needs? Simply Education is currently recruiting qualified teachers to work within SEND and SEMH settings across Stockport and Greater Manchester.

We are seeking dedicated professionals to join alternative provisions, Pupil Referral Units (PRUs), and specialist SEND schools that support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC), ADHD, trauma-related behaviours, and other learning difficulties. Whether you are an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) with a desire to work in specialist education, we want to hear from you.

About the Role
You will play a key part in supporting learners who are disengaged from mainstream education. Teaching groups are small, and support staff are present to help create a safe, structured and encouraging learning environment. The focus is not only on curriculum delivery, but also on emotional literacy, life skills and pastoral care.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging lessons tailored to students with diverse SEND or SEMH needs
* Implement individualised learning plans and differentiate effectively
* Create a positive and therapeutic classroom environment with clear boundaries
* Support the development of emotional regulation, resilience and social skills
* Work collaboratively with SENCOs, support staff, therapists and families
* Monitor and report on student progress and wellbeing

What We're Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
* A strong understanding of SEMH, Autism, ADHD and other SEND profiles
* Experience teaching in alternative provisions, SEND schools, PRUs or similar settings (desirable but not essential)
* Excellent behaviour management and pastoral care skills
* A calm, nurturing and resilient approach
* Passion for inclusive education and a genuine commitment to improving life chances for vulnerable young people
* Open to ECTs with relevant placements or strong interest in SEND education

Why Work with Simply Education?
* A wide range of long-term and permanent roles within specialist SEND and SEMH provisions
* Competitive daily rates of pay: £165 - £200, depending on experience
* Access to free CPD, including behaviour management, trauma-informed practice, and SEND awareness
* Dedicated consultant support from our Manchester team
