You will be joining a warm, collaborative environment with strong leadership and a multidisciplinary support team.
Your Role
As a SEND Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver creative, tailored lessons to meet individual EHCP targets
Use a range of strategies to support learning, communication, and regulation
Lead a class team including support staff and specialist assistants
Work closely with therapists, parents/carers, and external agencies
Track pupil progress and contribute to reviews and assessments
Create an inclusive, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
What We're Looking For
QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
Experience working with SEND pupils (school, specialist setting, or mainstream SEND role)
Strong behaviour management and a calm, supportive approach
Creativity in lesson planning and a passion for inclusive education
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
(Desirable) Experience with TEACCH, Makaton, PECS, or sensory-based learning
