Your Responsibilities

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support pupils with a range of SEND needs in class, small groups, or 1:1

  • Assist with personalised learning programmes and EHCP targets

  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation

  • Help deliver engaging, multi-sensory learning activities

  • Work closely with teachers, therapists and wider support staff

  • Contribute to creating a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment

What We're Looking For

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEND (school, care, community or family settings)

  • A calm, resilient and empathetic approach

  • Ability to build positive, trusting relationships with pupils

  • Good communication and teamwork skills

  • A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs

  • (Desirable) Training in Team Teach, Makaton, PECs or personal care
