Your Responsibilities
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support pupils with a range of SEND needs in class, small groups, or 1:1
Assist with personalised learning programmes and EHCP targets
Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation
Help deliver engaging, multi-sensory learning activities
Work closely with teachers, therapists and wider support staff
Contribute to creating a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment
What We're Looking For
Experience working with children or young people with SEND (school, care, community or family settings)
A calm, resilient and empathetic approach
Ability to build positive, trusting relationships with pupils
Good communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
(Desirable) Training in Team Teach, Makaton, PECs or personal care
