SEND Teaching Assistant
Job description
SEND Teaching Assistant - Rochester
Are you an experienced SEND TA looking for a role where you can genuinely make a difference?
We're working with a number of supportive primary and secondary schools across Rochester who are looking for dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants to join them on a full-time basis. These roles are five days a week, as the pupils require consistency and routine - so reliability and commitment are key.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys the flexibility of agency work but still wants the stability of consistent placements.
The role:
Supporting pupils with a range of SEND needs, either 1:1 or in small groups
Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
Creating a calm, supportive and engaging learning environment
Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils
We're looking for someone who:
Has experience supporting children with SEND in mainstream or special school settings
Holds an Enhanced DBS (or is willing to obtain one)
Is flexible and able to travel to schools across the local area
Is patient, proactive and confident managing a range of needs
What's on offer:
Competitive daily pay
Consistent, full-time placements
The flexibility and support of working with an agency
Opportunities across a variety of schools and settings
If you're passionate about supporting children with additional needs and want a role where you can have real impact, we'd love to hear from you.
