A specialist school in Herts is looking for compassionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our supportive team. About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide tailored support for pupils with a range of special educational needs. You will play a vital role in helping students engage with learning, build confidence, and develop important life skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support students in the classroom on a one-to-one or small group basis
  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
  • Encourage positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
  • Help adapt learning materials to meet individual needs
  • Support students with social interaction and independence
  • Contribute to a safe, supportive, and positive school environment

What We're Looking For

  • A caring, patient, and positive attitude
  • A genuine passion for supporting children and young people with SEN
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Reliability and a proactive approach to supporting learning
  • Previous experience working with children or young people (preferred but not essential)
