Location: Winsford, Cheshire
Pay: £88.92 - £100.53 per day (dependent on payroll choice)
Start Date: September 2025
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant to join our exceptional special school team. Our school supports students aged 11-17 with moderate learning difficulties and additional complex needs, including speech, language, communication challenges, and behavioural, emotional, and social difficulties.
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with special educational needs (SEN), helping them achieve their full potential in a caring and supportive environment.

Role and Responsibilities:
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, your key responsibilities include:
- Providing tailored support to students with a range of learning difficulties, speech, language, and behavioural challenges.
- Working closely with teachers to develop and implement effective learning strategies.
- Supporting students in both individual and group settings.
- Encouraging a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Helping students work towards their individual learning goals and targets.
What We Are Looking For:
- Previous experience in a SEND or similar educational environment is preferred.
- Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
- A commitment to supporting students with diverse learning needs.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and under the guidance of teaching staff.
