Location: Alsager, Cheshire
Pay: £88.92 - £100.53 per day (dependent on payroll choice)
Start Date: April and September 2025 available

About the Role:
Simply Education is partnering with a specialist school in Alsager, rated 'Good' by Ofsted. The school provides high-quality education for autistic students aged 4 to 19 in a supportive environment. With small class sizes (around 7 students) and a total of 80 students on roll, the school offers individual attention and tailored support.
As a SEND Teaching Assistant (SEND TA), you will work directly with students, assisting with learning activities and helping them develop confidence and skills. Whether you have experience or are eager to learn, this role offers growth in a rewarding setting.

What You'll Be Doing as a SEND Teaching Assistant:
- Supporting students in classroom activities, assisting them in achieving their individual learning goals.
- Helping with emotional regulation and communication strategies (PECS, Makaton, sensory integration).
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment and fostering students' independence.
- Collaborating with teachers and other staff to provide tailored support.
- Encouraging students in social and academic skills development.
What We're Looking For:
- A caring, patient individual passionate about supporting young people with special educational needs.
- Experience in education or working with SEND students is helpful but not essential.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and grow in a special needs education setting.
