The Role
We are seeking a compassionate and proactive SEND Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team. As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support students with SEND in their academic, social, and emotional development.
- Collaborate with teachers and clinical staff to deliver individualised learning plans.
- Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils to help them overcome challenges and achieve their potential.
- Assist students in gaining core qualifications (SATs/GCSEs) and exploring vocational opportunities such as beauty, catering, and life skills.
- Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where all students feel supported and valued.
About You
Are you a passionate individual who is committed to supporting young people with SEND. You should:
- Have experience working with children or young people, particularly those with SEND.
- Be patient, empathetic, and resilient in challenging situations.
- Possess excellent communication and teamwork skills.
