Are you an enthusiastic and committed Music Teacher ready to inspire the next generation of musicians? We are seeking a talented individual to join our dynamic and creative team in Northampton from September 2025.

About the Role:

As our new Music Teacher, you'll deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, nurturing students' skills and encouraging a lifelong appreciation of music. You'll play a key role in shaping our vibrant music department and helping students reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated music lessons across KS3-KS5

  • Prepare students for performances, assessments, and music qualifications

  • Lead and develop extracurricular music activities such as choirs, ensembles, and school productions

  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback

  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the music curriculum and whole-school events

What We're Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher with QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification

  • Experience teaching music at secondary level, including exam groups

  • A strong subject knowledge and genuine passion for music education

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills

  • A creative and energetic approach to teaching

  • A commitment to fostering an inclusive and inspiring learning environment
