Are you passionate about supporting children with complex needs? Do you have the patience and dedication to help students thrive? We're looking for a caring and proactive Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Norwich.

The Role:
You'll support pupils with a range of complex needs - including autism, physical disabilities, and communication challenges - working closely with teachers and specialists to deliver personalised support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support

  • Assist with Individual Education Plans (IEPs)

  • Support students with personal care and mobility

  • Help create an inclusive, nurturing learning environment

  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN

  • A calm, patient, and resilient approach

  • Strong communication skills

  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Teaching Assistant Level 2/3) are desirable but not essential

  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
