The Role: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing individualised learning plans that foster both academic and personal growth. By utilising innovative teaching methods and collaborating with a team of specialists, you will play a pivotal role in helping our pupils achieve their full potential.​

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver tailored lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of our pupils.​
  • Utilise a range of communication strategies to support pupil engagement and understanding.​
  • Work closely with therapists, support staff, and families to create a holistic learning environment.​
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary.​
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom atmosphere.​

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.​
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs, particularly those with severe learning difficulties and autism.​
  • Strong understanding of individualised education plans and adaptive teaching methods.​
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.​
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and collaboration.​
