Location: Winsford, Cheshire
Pay: £88.92 - £100.53 per day (dependent on payroll choice)
Start Date: September 2025
We are looking for a Sports Graduate to join our exceptional special school team. We support students aged 11-17 with moderate learning difficulties and additional complex needs, including speech, language, communication challenges, and behavioural, emotional, and social difficulties.
As a Sports Graduate, you will play a vital role in supporting students in both academic and extracurricular settings, helping them achieve their full potential while incorporating your knowledge of sports to engage and motivate students.

Role and Responsibilities:
As a Sports Graduate, your key duties will include:
- Supporting students in both academic and practical activities, helping them overcome challenges in the classroom and beyond.
- Using sports knowledge to engage students, developing their teamwork, discipline, and confidence through physical activities.
- Offering support for behavioural, emotional, and social challenges, helping students stay focused on their learning and personal development.
- Assisting teachers to develop and implement strategies to enhance student progress in both academic and personal development.
- Organising and leading sports sessions to help students build life skills such as cooperation, self-confidence, and resilience.
- Creating a positive, inclusive atmosphere where students feel motivated and encouraged.
What We Are Looking For:
- A sports graduate or someone with a strong passion for sports and working with young people.
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally with SEND or students with additional needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to supporting students.
- A commitment to high standards of student welfare and academic achievement.
- Ability to work well within a team and offer proactive support to both students and staff.
