We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Supply Teacher professionals to support primary schools in Colchester and the surrounding areas, due to an increasing demand for day-to-day cover. This role is ideal for teachers seeking flexible yet consistent work that fits around their lifestyle.
As a Primary Supply Teacher, you will be required to hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). This opportunity is also well suited to ECTs, offering valuable exposure across different key stages while allowing you to build strong relationships with schools and pupils across Colchester.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be available to work between 1-5 days per week on a flexible basis
- Have a strong understanding of the primary National Curriculum
- Be committed, professional, and an effective communicator
- Show confidence when teaching new classes and adapting to new environments
- Be approachable, engaging, and supportive to both pupils and staff
- Ensure all safeguarding and health & safety regulations are followed
