Supply Teacher - Chelmsford, Essex

About the Role

As a Supply Teacher, you will:

• Deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stage 3, or Key Stage 4

• Follow pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure continuity of learning

• Adapt quickly to different classroom environments and school policies

• Maintain strong classroom management and uphold school behaviour standards

• Support pupils of varying abilities, including those with SEN

• Mark and assess work where required

• Provide clear handover feedback to permanent staff

Assignments may include:

• Day-to-day cover

• Short-term sickness cover

• PPA cover

• Long-term placements

• Temp-to-perm opportunities

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised qualification

• Recent experience teaching in UK schools

• Strong behaviour management skills

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• A flexible and professional attitude

• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

• A genuine passion for education and supporting pupil progress

Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply.
