Supply Teacher - Year 1/2 (Mixed Class)

Simply Education is recruiting a Supply Teacher to work at a welcoming primary school in King's Lynn.

The school is seeking a confident and adaptable teacher to take over a mixed Year 1/2 class of 30 pupils. The school has three mixed Year 1/2 classes, and all planning is already in place, meaning there is minimal planning required.

The role:

• Teaching a mixed Year 1/2 class

• Delivering pre-prepared lessons

• Using live marking in line with school practice

• Working collaboratively with the Year 1/2 team

Skills required:

• Strong classroom management skills

• Ability to engage and motivate young learners

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Adaptability and confidence in a supply role

• Understanding of the KS1 curriculum

The ideal candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Experience teaching in KS1 (Year 1 and/or Year 2 preferred)
