Pay: £88.92 - £100.53 dependent on payroll choice

We're looking for a compassionate Support Assistant to join our team at an independent special needs school on the Wirral. Help students reengage with education, build confidence, and develop life skills in a supportive environment.
About the School:
This small provision supports students aged 11-14 who have faced disruptions in their education. We focus on rebuilding confidence and self-esteem through a multi-agency approach with tailored therapy.
The school has a capacity for 32 students (currently 12 on roll), offering small class sizes (3-5 pupils) and a high staff-to-student ratio. Students also engage in horse riding, team-building activities, and vocational qualifications in beauty and hairdressing.
Your Role:
- Provide 1:1 and group support to students with learning and emotional needs.
- Help build confidence, self-esteem, and coping strategies.
- Support therapeutic strategies for emotional management.
- Assist with life skills activities, including team-building and vocational training.
- Work closely with teaching staff to meet individual student needs.
- Promote positive behaviour and develop students' social skills.
