The Role:
You'll provide vital support to pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them access learning, develop independence, and build confidence. Working closely with teachers, teaching assistants, and other professionals, you'll ensure every student feels supported and included.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for students

  • Assist pupils with learning, social, and emotional needs

  • Help create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment

  • Support students in accessing classroom activities and school routines

  • Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and families

  • Encourage independence, confidence, and positive behaviour

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience working with children or young people with additional needs

  • A calm, patient, and empathetic approach

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Health and Social Care Level 2/3 or Teaching Assistant) are desirable but not essential

  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
