About the Role: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated teaching assistant to join us in Sittingbourne. The ideal candidate will inspire, motivate, and challenge students, fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
Provide one-to-one or small group support to students who need additional help.
Encourage and promote positive behaviour and a nurturing environment.
Support students with special educational needs (SEN) as required.
Assist in the preparation of classroom materials and resources.
Supervise students during break times and on school trips.
About You:
Experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant Certificate) is an advantage.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students.
