Teaching Assistant - Supply Opportunities in Maidstone

About the Role

We are working closely with a number of primary schools in Maidstone who are looking for committed and reliable Teaching Assistants (TAs) to support pupils on a supply basis. These roles include day-to-day sickness cover and short-term assignments, offering flexibility while allowing you to gain consistent work in local primary schools. This is an ideal opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who enjoys variety and supporting children's learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Support pupils in the classroom under the direction of the class teacher
• Provide 1:1 or small group support, including SEN where required
• Help maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment
• Support with classroom preparation and daily routines
• Follow safeguarding and behaviour policies at all times

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a school setting (preferred but not essential)
• Confidence travelling locally to primary schools across Maidstone
• A caring, patient, and proactive approach
• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
