Teaching Assistant - Primary Schools - Grantham

Role: Teaching Assistant
Location: Grantham and surrounding areas
Start Date: Immediate and ongoing opportunities
Contract Type: Day-to-day, part-time and long-term placements
Salary: £82.08 - £96.96 per day (dependent on experience)
Suitable for: Experienced TAs, support staff, SEN TAs, and graduates considering teaching

We are currently recruiting reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support a range of friendly and welcoming primary schools across the Grantham area. This is a varied and rewarding role where you'll work closely with class teachers to support pupils' learning, development, and wellbeing across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.

Whether you're looking for flexible day-to-day work or a consistent long-term placement, we have opportunities to suit your availability and preferences.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support the class teacher with daily classroom activities

  • Work with small groups or individual pupils to reinforce learning

  • Assist with lesson preparation and classroom organisation

  • Support pupils with additional or SEN needs where required

  • Help manage behaviour and promote positive engagement

  • Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

  • Experience working with children in a school or childcare setting

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
