Job Title: Teaching Assistant - Early Years
Location: Witney, Oxfordshire (near Oxford)

Role Overview:
We are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to support in the Early Years classroom on an ongoing supply basis, covering until a permanent appointment is made. This is described by the school as a "lovely, easy job", often with very small class sizes (sometimes as few as 4 pupils), offering a calm and rewarding experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support day-to-day learning and activities in the Early Years setting
  • Provide personal care where needed (supporting children with daily routines)
  • Work effectively with a small group of children to promote learning and development
  • Support with behaviour, wellbeing, and positive relationships

Essential Requirements:

  • Previous experience supporting children in Early Years or primary settings preferred
  • Confidence in handling personal care responsibilities
  • Patient, caring, and child-centred approach

Hours & Terms:

  • 8:30am - 5:15pm
  • Ongoing supply contract via Simply Education until permanent staff appointed
