Teaching Assistant - Primary Schools - Lincoln

Role: Teaching Assistant
Location: Lincoln and surrounding areas
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day, part-time and long-term placements
Salary: £82.08 - £96.96 per day (dependent on experience)
Suitable for: Experienced TAs, SEN TAs, support staff, and graduates considering teaching

Simply Education are currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants to support a range of friendly and welcoming primary schools across the Lincoln area.

This is a rewarding and varied role where you will work alongside class teachers to support pupils' learning, development and wellbeing across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. Whether you prefer flexible day-to-day supply or a consistent long-term placement, we have opportunities to suit your availability and career goals.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support the class teacher with daily classroom activities

  • Work with small groups or individual pupils to reinforce learning

  • Assist with lesson preparation and classroom organisation

  • Support pupils with additional or SEN needs

  • Help manage behaviour and promote positive engagement

  • Contribute to a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment

What we're looking for:

  • Experience working with children in a school or childcare setting

  • A positive, patient and proactive approach

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff

  • Reliable, flexible and professional attitude
