Role: Teaching Assistant

Contract Type: Long-term (5 days per week) with potential to become permanent
Salary: £82.08 - £96.96 per day (dependent on experience)
Suitable for: Experienced TAs, SEN TAs, Support Staff, or those looking for a consistent school placement

Simply Education is looking for a dedicated and reliable Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in the Sleaford area. This is a long-term role, working 5 days per week until the end of the summer term, with the possibility of transitioning into a permanent position. You will work closely with teachers and support staff to help pupils with additional needs succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.

Duties:

• Supporting pupils with SEN, additional needs, or learning difficulties
• Providing 1:1 or small group support to reinforce learning
• Assisting teachers with classroom activities and lesson delivery
• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
• Helping maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
• Building positive relationships with pupils to foster confidence and progress

Requirements:

• Has experience supporting children in a school or childcare setting
• Is patient, caring, and proactive
• Has strong communication and teamwork skills
• Can adapt to the needs of individual pupils
• Is committed to making a positive impact on children's learning
• CACHE Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is advantageous but not essential
