Salary: Competitive, based on experience (£78 - £95 per day)

About the Role

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting learners on a one-to-one basis and in small groups, helping them to engage in lessons and build confidence in their learning. This role is ideal for a caring, patient, and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about working with children and making a positive impact in the classroom.

• Provide 1:1 support for pupils who need additional guidance in their learning.
• Work with small groups of children to reinforce lesson objectives.
• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and structured lessons.
• Support children with their social and emotional development, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of each child.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar support role (desirable but not essential).
• A genuine passion for working with primary-aged children.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting children's learning.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
