Year 1 Class Teacher - ECTs Welcome

Location: Newark-on-Trent and surrounding areas
Pay: £115 - £140 per day (depending on role and experience)
Contract: Part-time / Long-term / Day-to-day
Start: ongoing

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Year 1 Class Teachers to support primary schools across the Newark-on-Trent area. This general role is perfect for both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to gain confidence and classroom experience in supportive settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging Year 1 lessons aligned with the national curriculum

• Create a positive and nurturing learning environment

• Assess and track pupil progress, offering constructive feedback

• Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff

• Maintain strong behaviour management and classroom organisation

Ideal Candidate:

• Holds QTS or is completing ECT induction

• Confident teaching within Key Stage 1

• Passionate, creative, and committed to pupil progress

• Adaptable, reliable, and proactive
