The Role:

At Bright Horizons Academy, we are looking for an experienced Primary School Teacher who will bring their passion for education and expertise to support our student's growth. As part of our dynamic team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons, using innovative approaches to engage and challenge students. You will assess and monitor student progress, support their social and emotional development, and contribute to the overall development of the school community. The role also provides opportunities to get involved in school-wide initiatives and extracurricular activities, ensuring a well-rounded education for all pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver creative lesson plans that meet diverse learning needs
  • Implement a range of assessment strategies to monitor and evaluate student progress
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Use technology to enhance teaching and learning experiences
  • Support student's social and emotional development
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and school-wide initiatives

Pre-requisites:

  • Degree in Primary Education with Qualified Teacher Status
  • Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in a primary school setting
  • Passionate about student development and inclusive education
  • Strong understanding of child development and modern teaching methods
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

All candidates who register with Simply Education are required to provide references for the previous 2 years of work, as well as complete an enhanced DBS check. Any interviews we hold will be conducted over a Teams call.
