Art Teacher - Specialist Provision
Location: Alsager, Cheshire
Salary: £31,650 - £38,034 dependent on Prior experience
Start Date: April and September 2025 available
Contract: Full-time, Long-term contract

About the Role:
As an Art Teacher, you will deliver creative and engaging lessons to students with special educational needs. You'll encourage students to explore their artistic talents and help them develop both technical skills and creative expression in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver art lessons that cater to individual students' needs and abilities
- Develop students' artistic skills across a range of media (painting, drawing, sculpture, etc.)
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and creative learning environment
- Work alongside Learning Mentors to provide personalised support
- Prepare students for life beyond school with essential creativity and confidence
Key Requirements:
- PGCE and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Experience in teaching art in a secondary or SEND setting is preferred
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills
- Ability to create a positive, inclusive environment for students to develop their artistic skills
- Resilience, adaptability, and a passion for creative teaching
