Behaviour Mentor - PRU Setting

Location: Longsight, Manchester
Salary: £23,114 per annum (pro rata) - £115-£120 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time / Long-term

Simply Education are recruiting a Behaviour Mentor to work in a Pupil Referral Unit in Longsight. This role involves mentoring pupils who require additional support to manage behaviour, develop emotional resilience, and re-engage with education.

Key Duties:

• Build positive, consistent relationships with pupils.
• Deliver structured mentoring sessions focused on behaviour and wellbeing.
• Support classroom activities and implement Team Teach strategies effectively.
• Help pupils develop coping mechanisms and self-regulation skills.

Requirements:

• Team Teach qualification (essential).
• Previous experience in an SEMH, PRU, or youth support environment.
• Resilient, empathetic, and passionate about inclusive education.
