Position: Caretaker / Site Manager
Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a reliable, practical and proactive Caretaker to join our friendly school team in the Chalfonts area.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment, and is ready to make a real difference to the daily running of our school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the school site is safe, secure, clean and well-maintained

• Carry out basic repairs, maintenance and gardening duties

• Monitor health & safety and fire safety compliance

• Oversee cleaning staff or external contractors when required

• Open and close the school site (key holder duties)

• Support with event setup and occasional lettings

Requirements:

• Previous caretaking, facilities, or maintenance experience preferred

• Good DIY/maintenance skills (electrical/plumbing/general repairs)

• Strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and initiative

• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to undergo DBS check)

• Able to work flexible hours if required (early mornings or evenings)
