Cover Supervisor

Location: Lincoln

Salary: £20k - £22k per annum

Contract: Full-time, Part-Time, Monday to Friday

Start Date: 01.09.2025

Are you looking for exciting new teaching opportunities in Lincolnshire? Simply Education is looking to recruit a confident and adaptable Cover Supervisor to help to support a local secondary school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and materials left by teaching staff.

• Ensure a positive learning environment, managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies.

• Support students in understanding tasks and staying on track with work.

• Report back to the regular teacher on class performance and any issues that arise.

• Respond to student questions and provide general guidance without having to plan lessons or assess work

Candidate Requirements:

• Ability to manage a classroom and maintain discipline.

• Confidence and flexibility to work with students across Key Stages 3 and 4.

• Previous experience working with young people in an educational setting.

• Degree or relevant further education qualifications.

• Knowledge of school systems and safeguarding procedures.
