Cover Supervisor - Romford

Salary: £130-£150 er day (depending on experience)

We are seeking a confident and motivated Cover Supervisor to join our team and support secondary schools across Romford and the surrounding areas.

As a Cover Supervisor, you'll step into the classroom to deliver pre-prepared lessons, maintain a positive learning environment, and ensure students stay on task in the absence of their regular teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced classroom staff looking to build experience in education.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers.

• Deliver lesson plans and ensure a constructive learning atmosphere.

• Manage student behaviour in line with school policies.

• Provide feedback to teaching staff about student progress and engagement.

• Support pupils in achieving their learning objectives.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with children or young people (school, tutoring, youth work, etc.).

• Strong communication and organisational skills.

• A positive, professional attitude with the ability to manage classroom behaviour.

• A valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
