Simply Education is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate DTT (Discrete Trial Training) Teacher to join a supportive and well-established school in High Wycombe. This exciting opportunity is set to begin just after the Easter break.

This role is ideal for an experienced SEND professional who is passionate about structured teaching approaches and making a meaningful impact on pupils with additional needs.

🧩 The Role

As a DTT Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality Discrete Trial Training (DTT) sessions tailored to individual learning plans.

  • Support pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and other additional needs.

  • Break down learning objectives into small, achievable steps to promote progress and confidence.

  • Use data-driven methods to track and monitor student progress.

  • Provide consistent reinforcement and structured support.

  • Work collaboratively with SENCOs, therapists, teaching assistants, and parents/carers.

  • Create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.

✅ The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience working with children with SEND, particularly ASC.

  • Knowledge or practical experience of DTT and/or ABA approaches.

  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills.

  • A patient, resilient, and nurturing approach to teaching.

  • A relevant teaching qualification or significant SEN experience.

  • An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (essential requirement).
