English Teacher - Specialist Provision
Location: Alsager, Cheshire
Salary: £120 - £150 per day
Start Date: April and September 2025 available
Contract: Full-time, Long-term contract

About the Role:

As an English Teacher, you will inspire students with a love of literature, language, and writing. You will deliver dynamic and engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students, helping them to develop their literacy and communication skills in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver English lessons that cater to individual students' needs and abilities
• Teach both literature and language in a way that encourages engagement and critical thinking
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
• Work alongside Learning Mentors to provide personalised support to students
• Help students achieve their English GCSEs and build essential literacy skills for future life

Key Requirements:

• PGCE and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Experience in teaching English in a secondary or SEND setting is preferred
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
• Ability to create an inclusive and engaging environment for students to develop their English skills
• Resilience, adaptability, and a passion for teaching English
