EYFS Teacher
Start Date: January 2026
Contract: Until Easter
Working Pattern: 4 days per week (days to be confirmed)
Daily Rate: £160 - £195 per day (depending on experience)

Simply Education are seeking a committed and engaging EYFS Teacher to support a warm, community-focused primary school in the SK1 postcode area. This long-term role will begin in January and run until the Easter break, with the placement due to be confirmed as soon as possible.

The school is part of a well-regarded local trust and is known for its nurturing ethos, strong values, and commitment to helping every pupil flourish academically, socially and emotionally. The Early Years team places great importance on creating a stimulating environment where children feel safe, curious, and confident to explore. Play-based provision, outdoor learning, and strong home-school partnerships form important elements of their approach.

Role Responsibilities

  • Teach and support pupils across the Early Years Foundation Stage.

  • Deliver high-quality lessons in line with the EYFS Framework.

  • Plan engaging, hands-on activities that promote early reading, writing, numeracy, and personal development.

  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment.

  • Work collaboratively with the EYFS staff team to support progress and wellbeing.

  • Build strong relationships with parents and carers to ensure consistent support for each child.

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

  • Previous experience within EYFS.

  • Ability to commit to four days per week throughout the placement.

  • A collaborative and professional approach with a genuine passion for early years education.

  • Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS check and provide two recent professional references.
