History Teacher - Secondary School - Bolton

Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated History teacher looking for your next opportunity? A well-established secondary school in Bolton is seeking a passionate educator to join its successful Humanities department.

The Role

  • Position: History Teacher (KS3 & KS4)

  • Location: Bolton

  • Start Date: September 2024 (or sooner if available)

  • Contract: Full-time, Permanent

  • Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality History lessons, supporting students to develop critical thinking skills and a deep understanding of historical events. The role also includes planning, marking, and contributing to the wider Humanities curriculum.

What We're Looking For

  • Qualifications: QTS (or equivalent) and a degree in History or a related subject

  • Experience: Teaching History at secondary level (KS3 & KS4)

  • Skills: Strong classroom management, excellent communication, and the ability to inspire students

  • Commitment: A dedication to raising student achievement and fostering a love for History
