The Role
Position: History Teacher (KS3 & KS4)
Location: Bolton
Start Date: September 2024 (or sooner if available)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality History lessons, supporting students to develop critical thinking skills and a deep understanding of historical events. The role also includes planning, marking, and contributing to the wider Humanities curriculum.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications: QTS (or equivalent) and a degree in History or a related subject
Experience: Teaching History at secondary level (KS3 & KS4)
Skills: Strong classroom management, excellent communication, and the ability to inspire students
Commitment: A dedication to raising student achievement and fostering a love for History
